President's Day Weekend

We had a lot of fun on President's Day weekend! It was my mom's birthday on Friday and the night before, Jill left Walla Walla to come home and surprise mom. She got to Filer around 2:30 in the morning. My dad decorated the house really fun for her birthday....I think they probably still have confetti in the carpet!

Saturday Jill wanted to go to Pocatello to the Downeast store for some jeans. Carson and I tagged along with Jill and Grandma Haney and we had a fun time. Grandma bought Carson a vegetable set with a knife and cutting board at TJ Maxx and he loves it! When we got back home Terry and Sarah came for the weekend and Carson had to show Terry his vegetables. It has an eggplant and Terry told Carson that they were yucky so later on when he was making "soup" he set the eggplant aside and told us that it was yucky so it couldn't go in his soup!

I LOVE these girls! I couldn't ask for better sisters. I miss having them around but am so proud of their accomplishments at school. Sarah will graduate in April with her BA in communications and Jill will get her associates in June. Jill has applied to 3 dental hygiene programs and has heard back on two and has interviews set up. I am rooting for the Twin Falls program so we can see her more!

Keeping us in check

Carson likes to point out all the stop signs when we are driving. Last week he saw one by our house and yelled, "STOP SIGN!!!" Then he tells me, "mom you didn't stop!" Oops! Good thing it was out in the country...I will have to be more careful to obey the law next time.

Yesterday we spent the day at my parents house and did crafts with my mom, Kaci and Sarah. We had so much fun and I will have to post pictures of our projects. We went downstairs to make Carson lunch and we were just talking while he ate. All the sudden Carson says, "Hey Grandma--last time when you wasn't here Ryan broke that" He was pointing at a decoration on the counter. Kaci and I gave each other a funny look and then broke out laughing. We stopped by my parents house last week to say hi but they were gone so we visited with Ryan and Kaci. Ryan broke a little piece off of my mom's decoration and glued it back on really carefully with super glue so she wouldn't know.....guess he didn't take into account that Carson watches EVERYTHING!!!

Happy Birthday Zac

Zac turned 28 today! I made his favorite dinner and we had his parents and Dylan over to eat. My parents and Ryan and Kaci came by for dessert and to deliver a present that I had been keeping at their house. I bought Zac a flat screen tv at Costco and I am not very good at surprises because he guessed that I was getting it! I also had a photo book made of our camping trip last summer and found a Denver Broncos shirt for him. Kaci and Ryan brought a blanket like the ones they made for my parents at Christmas and I think he was most excited for that! It is mossy oak camo on one side and brown on the other---thanks guys!

Zac with all his birthday loot.

On Sunday I was trying to get Zac to take a picture with me and this was the first shot....looks like his dad--no smiles for pictures!

This was the second try....one of the kids turned the lights off right before I took it and the camera took forever to take the picture.

Finally a good shot...Right after I took the picture he tells me, "I wasn't ready" Guess I just need to take him by surprise to get a smile! Happy birthday babe--I LOVE YOU!!!!

Super Bowl

We met at Grandma and Grandpa Jacobson's for the Super Bowl this year. Lisa made a yummy turkey and we had a great dinner. We were missing Tianna but had fun being together.

Watching the game

Logan did not want to look at the camera--I love his shirt, he was looking handsome!

They wouldn't look at me so I told them I had candy and got this reaction

She can move so fast! I was trying to get her picture by Carson but she kept chasing me.

I had Tanille take a belly shot for me (27 weeks)

Jumping with Dad

Last Friday we had a family night out and went to Hop 2 It and had dinner at Applebee's. Zac had never been before and he and Carson had a blast running all around. It was fun to watch them play together as I watched from the sidelines. Carson now calls it the "jumpin' place."

Swimming with Grandpa

I can't believe I don't have any pictures of this but Carson has been swimming with my dad twice in the last few weeks. My parents took him on the 30th and it was so funny to watch. We went to Thousand Springs Resort in Hagerman (I still always call it Sligars) and that is where we did our mommy and me class last summer. It was really crowded and hot in there but they had a good time. Carson isn't too sure of the water and he clings onto your neck really tight. Well my dad wants him to get used to the water so he won't be afraid....and to prepare him for future river trips!

The Thursday after we went the first time my dad called and said he was on his way to take Carson again. Carson was so excited but he told Grandpa (sounds like Trampa) "I don't want to go in the deep!" My said asked if he would go on the log.....you should have seen Carson's face, he was so concerned as he said, "but I will FALL OFF!" I packed him a lunch and off they went. They were the only ones in the huge pool and dad said he did better this time. Afterward they got to go see the alligators and get ice cream. Thanks Grandpa!

A rainbow

I was doing dishes and Carson says, "look mom--a rainbow!" He was pretty proud of himself sitting there with the train tracks balanced on his head. He comes up with the funniest things!

Baby Update

We had our monthly appointment on the 1st and the baby is still measuring a few weeks behind so we are scheduled to have another ultrasound on the 16th to check her growth. I also have to do the glucose test that day and then we will have appointments every two weeks.

I am trying to decide if we should set up the crib in Carson's room or put it in the extra bedroom--any suggestions?

House Party

On January 24th we hosted a game day house party for DiGiorno Pizza. The company sent us 6 free pizza coupons, a pizza cutter, football shaped hot pad, and a bunch of party necklaces. We also got great coupons to hand out to the guests. I have done this twice before and it is so fun to get the stuff in the mail. The other parties were an XBOX 360/Netflix party where we were sent an XBOX game and a netflix trial and a party to try out a new juice from Juicy Juice. I just got accepted for another one at the end of this month for a new bread product.

Well we had the party at Zac's parent's house and invited all of his family. It is so fun to get together with everyone and Carson loves to play with his cousins. I was supposed to take pictures of us eating the pizza but I kind of forgot. Jace and Carson were so funny running around without shirts on. Brandon gave them and Logan a ride and they loved it! I had to add in the picture of Aiden--he is always such a happy baby!

Hop 2 It

A couple of weeks ago my mom met us at Hop 2 It after work so Carson could play. He hadn't been there since last April and had a great time. Thanks for coming with us Grandma!
