We had a scary experience two nights ago. Zac and I laid down with Carson in his bed and put him to sleep and then we went to bed. About 30 minutes later Carson woke up so I went and laid down with him to help him go back to sleep. When I laid down the pillow was sort of flat so I flipped it over. Carson went right back to sleep and I was just about to go back to my bed when something crawled across me head. I jumped up and out of the corner of my eye I could see a big spider. I hurried and turned to hall light one and there was a huge spider on the bed, I scooped it up in a basket and put it in the bathroom sink. I was FREAKING out! It was a black widow spider and it crawled right across my head.
Luckily neither Carson nor I was bit, but it really scared me. Zac got on the computer and was reading about black widows and then I was even more scared. We put Carson in our bed and yesterday I went to Lowe's and bought some foggers, spray, and spiders traps.
I love the space we have out in the country but things like this make a subdivision sound mighty nice!
Have any of you ever used the bug foggers? We are going to do it in the basement and I worry about our things down there (food storage) even though the can says it is ok.
***We had a fun quick trip up to Washington to see Jill play softball and I took some fun pictures so I will post them soon.
