Asparagus

Growing up my family would go for a drive and pick asparagus. I have always love to eat it and now Zac does too. He had never had it until we were married (crazy, I know!) and Carson is a fan too. All along the road by our hay field there is a bunch growing. We picked it a few times for dinner and it was delicious.

Carson and Logan

We have gotten to watch my nephew Logan a few times while Niki went to work and have had fun. Carson LOVES babies (sometimes a bit too much) he played toys with Logan and wanted to give him his bottle and helped me feed him some baby food. Carson even snuck a bite and said "yuck."

Last week Logan had to have surgery to drain an infection in his leg and now he has a picc line in his arm that will give him antibiotics for the next 5 weeks to clear up the infection. It is a staph infection....scary! We are so glad that he is doing better and he is much happier now that he gets to be at home.

Carson loves to play with Zac's Rock Band. We played one night while my family was here and Carson sat in the chair and started to play.....He always sings Eye of the Tiger. I am horrible at it but I can set it to easy and play ok. We have a broken guitar and Carson will wear that while Zac plays, it is pretty cute to watch.

Gearing up for swim lessons

Carson and I are going to do a mommy and me swim class at Thousand Springs Resort for the next two weeks (anyone want to join us?) He has only been swimming a few times so we took him a few weeks ago and he loved it. I ordered a new swimsuit and they sent me the wrong size :( I hope they get the correct one here by tomorrow.
