ER Visit
Lets just say that our local ER is nothing like the TV show! I have only been to the emergency room one time and that was with my dad when I was a kid. He had to have stitches after he took an elbow to the eye playing basketball. Well last night Zac and I got to take Carson to the ER because he fell and hurt his arm. That place sure had a lot of interesting people. It was really busy and we saw our neighbor and another friend there too. Carson just sat in my lap and cried while we waited for almost two hours to get in and then another hour later we got to go home. He had several x-rays taken and it didn't appear to be broken so they put it in a splint and sent us home for the night. They ER attendant wanted us to see an orthopedic doctor today so we took Carson in and he ended up having to get a cast. Poor kid! It is hard to see your baby go through something like that and have him cry so hard. He seems to be doing well but he isn't too sure about this cast. Dad picked out the dinosaurs.
This is the splint they put on his arm last night. He is loving the empty wrapping paper rolls as his Uncle Ryan showed him how to make noises with them.
I couldn't get him to look at me, but this is the real cast that he will have for three weeks

Free Stuff!!
I don't know if anyone actually reads my blog, but I thought I would share of hobby of mine:
One of my favorite things to do is find great deals and save money! I check a few blogs each day and one of my favorites is http://www.babycheapskate.blogspot.com/. I also really like http://www.mamabargains.com/ it is a deal site where they post a new deal until it sells out and then a new one comes up. It is like the site http://www.steepandcheap.com/ but it is kids stuff. There are also two more deal a day sites: http://www.babysteals.com/ and http://www.babybloop.com/
I recently signed up for a research company to be a product tester. They sent me 2 packages of free diapers (about 22 in each pack) and all I had to do was fill out a short survey. They called me last week and asked if I wanted to do testing for tampons. They are always looking for more testers and free stuff is always good! If you are interested you can email them at: NietoResearchInc@aol.com or 1-888-412-5552 . Just give them your name and address and let them know that you are interested in being a product tester and they will send you a sign-up packet.
I also joined a company called vocal point: http://site.vocalpoint.com/guest/index.html So far they have sent me a venus razor with lots of coupons, Kashi cereal bar (with coupon for a free box), day planner from Crest and coupon for free toothpaste, a lots of other coupons!

What a long trip!
Well we haven't actually been in Coeur d' Alene for the past 6 months, I have just had a hard time getting into doing my own blog. I love to read other people's blogs and I never get around to doing mine! I'll give you the condensed version of the past 6 months and a few pictures.
Some highlights:
-Carson turned 1
-We moved into our new house
-Spent the summer irrigating
-Family reunion in Moab
-Carson's first time on the fair rides
-New cousin Logan born in September
-2 more new cousins are on the way
-Our 3rd anniversary
-Carson was a puppy for Halloween
-Visited Aunt Jill in Walla Walla
-I went to Utah for a scrapbooking retreat with
my mom and left Carson for the first time!
(and Zac survived!)

Hanging out with Sarah in the apple tree
With great grandma and grandpa Haney
I hope Kaci doesn't mind me posting this picture!

Long Car Trip
I wish that I had a picture to post because it is so beautiful here. I am in Couer d' Alene with my parents and Sarah for my cousin's wedding. We drove to Boise last night to see Jill at state track and then we drove all night long so that Carson would sleep. It worked out for the most part and I am hoping that the ride home goes as smooth. Carson had his first experience in the Jacuzzi and he wasn't too sure about it at first but eventually he started to splash around. I brought my camera so I will have to get some shots to share.

Finally an update!
Carson loves to be outside and today he climbed into my flower bed
(I promise those aren't all weeds!)
Last Friday my sister Sarah and I graduated from C.S.I.
I would like to go back and finish my teaching degree
because I only need a few more semesters.
A couple more pictures of Carson:
He tries to ride on his truck and is pretty good at getting around
He pulled this bowl out of a cupboard and sat in it!
