Carson learned this song in nursery and sings it all throughout the day. He has also been telling himself, "thank-you/welcome"

Under the weather

Carson has had a cough/cold this whole week. I hate it when he is sick! I feel so bad for him...I should be grateful because he is rarely sick. He has a really runny nose and it is stressing him out. He will come running up to me saying, "BOOGUHS!" It is kind of funny, but at least he doesn't have them running into his mouth!

He has learned to sing twinkle twinkle little star and I am charging the camera batteries so I can post a video.

Our farm business and the dairy have some beef cows and they are out by our house right now. Carson loves to ride in Zac's truck to go check the cows. He leans half way out the window to get a better look. So far we have 4 babies and they are so cute! It was right before sunset when we went tonight and my camera was being funny so the picture isn't that great.

Free Quiznos

Quiznos is giving away 1,000,000 free subs! You just have to register on the website and then they email you a coupon to print and it just has to be used within 5 days of printing. When I printed one for Zac and I, it said that they had given away around 100,000 so far. This will be a fun, cheap date night for us! (you can use multiple emails to sign up so you can get more coupons) The coupon has my name on it and says I will have to show I.D.

Albertson's sale

This week Albertsons is having a Buy 10 save $10 sale. I was able to get all of the pictured groceries below for $23.35. I bought 30 items and saved over $75. If you buy 10 participating items it prints you out a coupon for $10 off you next purchase. I did this once, got my certificate, did another order and used my certificate on that order AND I also got another $10 off coupon. I used my second coupon to buy some extra things that I needed to make a salad for a church party. I wasn't planning on purchasing one of my items, but there were 75% off baskets of valentines things and I got a cookie cutter set for $3. I used several coupons--but most of them were internet printables. http://krazycouponlady.blogspot.com/ is where I got the link to the Albertson's ad (the link just goes to the pinchingyourpennies website) When I got home last night I found some more progresso soup coupons at http://progressotastechallenge.com/ and I plan to go back and get some soup . You can print internet coupons twice per computer--you just need to push the back button. There are also some additional coupons that print out at the register if you buy certain things. For instance if you buy 5 fruit rollups/gushers/snacks you will get a $3.50 print out. All you would have to do is buy 5 more items from the buy 10 get $10 sale and you end up with $13.50 in coupons for your next purchase!

***I just want to add that I do not only feed my family prepackaged processed food/junk food, but it is nice to have it on hand when I don't feel like cooking a homemade meal!

Carson

Carson found his jumperoo in the closet yesterday and wanted to get in it. I looked back through my pictures and found this one of when my dad first bought the jumperoo for him. He is 4months in the first picture and 20 months in the next one.

Anyone ever heard of electric football? I hadn't until Zac and I got married. Zac used to play this a lot when he was a kid. This is his old board and Carson thinks it is great. Last Christmas I found a new version for Zac so now they can both play.


The other night Carson picked out some pj's and we put them on to get ready for bed. A little while later he came out of his room with three more pairs and really wanted to wear them. I had a hard time getting them off because he wanted to sleep in all 4 pairs!
