Wicked Spell

Carson just came in the house and asked ..."Mama can I have a cup of milk to make our wicked spell completed?"   Such a funny kid.  He and Kyla are outside mixing up a concoction in the sand box.  I love warm sunny days when we don't have to be cooped up in the house!

Sunny Sunday

Started out the day in our Sunday best.... 

Changed into some more comfortable clothes.....and yes Macey does have elmo underwear over her leggings!

Then headed outside for some fun in the sun

It was such a nice day so we took advantage of the weather and played outside.  Zac aired up our bike tires and we went for a family ride up to the neighbors house.

February Fun

English Rice

At dinner tonight:

Carson: Ewww! What is that?
Mom: It is Spanish Rice...don't say yuck before you have even tried it
Carson: Our language is white
Dad: It is called English
Carson: So we should call this English Rice

Where did he come up with that?  Cracks me up

***Also this morning when I woke him up for school he sits up and says, "I was dreaming we were at a corn dog stand!"

****Tonight while I was cleaning out the spare bedroom I heard a loud crash and ran into the kitchen.  I had mopped the floor and already told Carson once not to go in there because it was wet.  Well I guess he couldn't resist and had to go surfing.  He split open his chin and bit the inside of his cheek.  Poor kid was so upset.  Our awesome neighbor came over and patched him up for me.

When cows laugh....

Carson just told me, "Mom did you know that when cows laugh milk comes out of their noses!"

And it came to pass....

When we read our scriptures we have Carson repeat 2 or 3 verses and then Zac and I read the rest of the chapter.  Tonight as we sat down to read, Carson says, "And it came to pass" before we had even started.  Funny thing was that that was actually how the chapter started!

He has done very well when we help him to memorize a scripture or article of faith!

Zac was leaving for work this morning and as he walked out of the bedroom he said, "love you Macey!"  Macey says back, "wuv woo too!"  You should have seen the grin on Zac's face.  This little girl has got dad wrapped around her finger. 

As I was getting the kids breakfast, I told Carson I was going to jump in the shower real fast.  He tells me, "leave some hot water for me."  Where does he come up with this stuff? 

Carson learned to letter "d" at preschool this past week. He came home and told me that his teacher said it was ok to say "duh"   I was confused at first and then realized they had been practicing the d sound.  He told his teacher, "we don't say duh!"

One of my favorite things Carson says it actually.  He will start to say something and then he adds in an actually and it cracks me up.......for instance he said, "actually, I would like to read this book"
